So I have an 8Gb thumb drive and a 5.1 Gb Avi file...
I try and put the AVI on the drive and it tells me "destination drive full"..WTF...the thumb drive has nothing on it?

My guess is the flash drive is formated in FAT32, which has a file limitation of 4 gigs or so. Reformat the flash drive to NTFS and you'll be good to go.

it does show as FAT 32, but it does not give me the option to format it as NTSF..

EDIT: figured out how to change it and all is good...thanks so much for th help..:D

When your thumb drive is formatted with ntfs you MUST use "safely remove hardware". If you just yank it - data can be lost.

gratz on finding the fat32 4GB file limitation.
