Throttlewatch question - please help!

My system is an XPS 600, no mods at all.

Okay, so when I run Throttlewatch, many times it will 'spike' on the CPU frequency speed graph for no reason. For second, It will report CPU speed at 1 million MHZ, etc. Of course it's not running that fast, but why is Throttlewatch reporting this? CPU-Z does not show this spike at all. The computer runs perfectly stable and fine though. I also had my friend try this with a basic Dimension 3000 and it does the same thing.

Any ideas?
