• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I don't understand this. My last 2 threads have mysteriously been deleted... The most recent was asking if Word 2007 had an accordion or alternative comments feature (posted in General Software, if I recall), and the one before that was asking what particularly useful homepages people use. (Networking & Security, where all the other threads like that go)

*Absolutely* nothing controversial, kiddish, etc... which is why I mentioned that I can't understand what's going on. Is there perhaps a hyper-critical mod out and about or something? I know some people get a thrill out of doing stuff like this, preying on any possible excuse, so they can make themselves feel big ...

did you post them in the right sections?

what days were they on? i know with the database problems last week they lost 5 days worth of posts.

why dont you PM a mod about it?

If they were made within the past 2 weeks, the possibility of them being deleted is good. Not because anything was wrong with the thread, but 5 days worth of posts were rolled back. See the Announcement at the top of each forum for the details.

Hmm, that's a possibility...
I know that mods can see deleted threads, so I posted a thread here hoping that one of them (not knowing which one might've been the "deleter") could maybe look at my profile (All Subscribed Threads list, or just Show All Threads by User), and see my lost threads there, to determine if a rogue mod was responsible... (unless only board indexes let you view deleted threads).

Mods cannot completely delete threads, only Admins...but none of us do for documentation sake. I can find no record of your posts, so I have to assume that ther were deleted in the rollback.
