I use my PC for mainly gaming powered by a 680gtx. Im torn between 2 displays. A Korean 27 S-ISP or a 120hz 2ms Samsung TN panel. Getting a 120hz Korean is kinda outa the question as i cant wait months to upgrade. I can get the Samsung 750D or the 950D for about 400 shipped or a Korean for 340 or so.. Best gaming experience Borderlands 2, Bf3, Diablo 3 and what ever else i toss at it. Dont really care for 3D..

If input lag is a concern definitely get the Samsung. If you are going nVSurround you really want to consider S-IPS as the angles on a TN screen can be a real bitch. I have one TN screen mixed into my 6-monitor setup and it is immediately clear which one is the TN.

Maybe you were referring to pixel response time (?) since the base model DL-DVI Korean IPS monitors have extremely low input lag as well, as low as 4ms (1/4 frame). There is a "response time" chart for Korean monitors that everyone keeps linking but it's not referring to to input lag btw.

or a Korean for 340 or so.

OP the 27" Korean IPS monitors are going for $290 - $300 shipped. Search Ebay using the term "2560x1440" then sort your results by price, you'll find a bunch below $300. The Achieva Shimian and Yamakasi Catleap are the more proven models.

Second. Samsung, quality over price... Cousin has one you mentioned, fab monitor.
