After several suggestions from several forums (and thank you everyone), I think I have come to something like this.

ABIT "NF7-S2" nForce2 Ultra 400
AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2200+ ( planning to oc >= 2.0 Ghz)
2X Corsair 512 Mb DDR PC-3200
ATI 9600XT 128 MB

For a reasonable system for around $500. The system will only be a temporary system used for about a year and a half to do light gaming, graphic design, and lossa programming stuff.

I have hard drives, optical drives, etc... just about everything I need except for

PSU & Case
Cooling System for CPU/Case

With the cooling, PSU, and Case, I realize it's gonna put me over $500, but I pretty much expected that to happen, and have planned for it.

Any thoughts on the current setup or suggestions on adequate PSU/Cooling would be gratly appreciated.
