Wow..... I've made it to #22 on the team..... and to make it to 21 I have to mow oer [H]ardApe :p

The frankenstein is still producing 400 or so ppd, but even at my speed it is going to take me a week and 1/2 to mow it over (coming for relic next :D)

This is one steep wall this far up.

The top 20 is a very very steep wall and you will need oxygen masks as well ;)

You can do it, and you know I got your back. Here's a dozen and a six pack.... now just remember, at that altitude, the beers gonna hit you a little hard.... so easy goes it my friend;)

That's especially dangerous when you have to keep looking back over your shoulder. :D
 
Very impressive brother Kendrak, I wish you the best of luck :D

Besides having some serious "D" type computing gear (ie a large farm, a lot of top flight computing compnets, etc) It seems to me that
in order to reach such a lofty position as being in the "top 20" on this terrific team ([H]ard folding team) you would need an oxygen mask handy for the "thin air" up there. The ability to get along with the "four legged" animals and birds that hang out at those high altitudes (ie eagles, mountain goats). Some warm weather clothes for the colder weather up there, some crampons incase it's icy and maybe some instructions on the use of a parachute or some experience "repelling" (SP) case you fall. Probably being an experienced "mountain climber" would be a plus. :D

Don't forget this is only my speculation :rolleyes:. I've only had the honor of reaching the #65 posititioin. I hope to be in the 60's to 70' PpD range for some time or at least until I can get some more "D". (DC'ing is forever changing) ;) Having always been (and super proud of it) one of the "unwashed masses" of DC'ers (never in the top 20) I don't know how much mowing they do up there, but I imagine they use those deals that shave the ice on ice skating rings to advance to the next step. :eek:

The thing I've heard over and over again from some very experienced folders on this team and other DC'ing type teams (F@H, SETI, WCG, etc) no matter how many pernts you are making, "consistancy" is the name of the game and all DC'ers are important no matter their PpD. Thanks everyone, we's can help find the cure. :p

Oh yeah, don't forget a "warm pac" for your tamales. I don't think you''ll need a "cold pac" for your beer :rolleyes:
