it's lame. one of the main reasons to own a ratpad is b/c of the super-fast tracking surface. you complete negate the surface if you cover it. I'd never do that to mine.
 
Got my brother a Ratpad last christmas, Its leet but oddly shaped, but i can nudge the mouse and its half way on the other side of the pad, he has a logitech mx510, i play halo on his comp and mine with a generic rubbery mouse pad, theres a huge diffrence, and its how sensitive it is! if i gamed a lot id get it

I'm not i want want to know if i should save 20$ and not buy one.
 
All the reviews I have read on them state they have a great surface for gaming. I have a Ratpad GS and after 2 weeks of use it has alot of wear and no longer functions as it should, I am going to get one of these for it as I like the look of them and I am hopeing that it will last longer than the plain Ratpad did.
However I am thinking of getting this one http://www.xoxide.com/nvfamopadsk.html and possibly the matching Case Skin.
 
Ya that ones nice i like the Angel one but i have nothing that goes with it. :p

are you serious? What kinda gaming to you do? I've had my Ratpad (original) for 3+ years and the only thing I've had to do to it was wash it with some windex once.
