This LCD good for gaming?

Im looking for an LCD that will replace my CRT moniter that I can play games like FEAR / HL2 / etc..... THAT WILL NOT GHOST! Newegg states that this LCD has a 2ms refresh rate, is this right? You should look at the LG 1970HR too which is also 2ms and a generally good overall monitor.

The LG is too much. I really like the look of the viewsonic, and 623 positive replys from newegg..... Just wanted to see what you all thought.
