This is just plain dumb...

At my work we use HP/Compaq systems. For quite a while now we've been using the P1130 21" monitors. They're nice with a 20" viewable diplay, a flat screen and a maximum of 2048 x 1536 resolution. On our last order however we got their P1230 22" monitors. Imagine my surprise when I see that they also have a 20" viewable display, a flat screen, and a maximum of 2048 x 1536 resolution. I understand the viewable area being smaller than the tube size, and I even understand how onw manufacturer's 22" monitor might have more viewable area than anothers. But the same manufacturer selling 21" and 22" monitors that have the same specs?!? Am I missing something here?
