This a good overclock considering the memory?

2x 512mb PC2100 Crucial
Motherboard is Asus P4C800-E

Do you think something like OCZ PC4200 EL or Mushkin Level 2 black PC3500 would offer enough of an improvement over my current ram to justify the cost?

I would want to run it at 1:1 and try to get the FSB up to at least 280.

For an Intel Bh-5 Mushkin level 2 or Kingston Hyper X pc-3500 (last years bh-5) is overkill.

Thats LOW latency ram that will benefit the amd processor. Any pc-4000 & up is best for Intel.

NO you want somehting that works with dividers so that eliminates CH5 and most of the high latency mems... so get BH5
