What's the point of the USB cable? Is that just for extra USB ports? and has anyone used the drivers on the disc that came with the monitor?

As for people complaining if the screen door effect, are you guys licking the monitor or something?! :p This thing is nice.

Gave this one to my daughter. I'll pick up another for my gaming rig.
 
USB cable is for the extra USB ports locate on the monitor itself. Its really great, I use my usb thumbdrive with the side ports all the time.

As for the driver disc, I installed the color profile, not sure if it does a whole lot....

i never bothered with the cd that came with the 2001fp, it just had some worthless pdf document.
 
The USB ports on the 2001FP are just gravy on a monitor that would be great even without 'em.
