The site admin (BoK!) @ Free-DC.org has agreed to track our UD stats for us. I love the look of this site. Sleek and light, very easy to use. Plus, he has a forum for suggestions and bug fixes. Very responsive too.

Here are our stats. Check out the site, I think you will like it.

I figure between Free-DC.org and Kaoko Stats for FAH tracking, this gives us a nice blend of stats tracking sites to use.

Free-DC.org also tracks FAH stats as well. If we ever wanted him to add them, I am sure he wouldn't mind.

I think I like fahstats the best - solely because I'm on the first page of stats there :)

 
so does hf.com not have UD site? I kind of thought we wanted our team there?

 
This is just another option. Everyone's site does something different and this is just another source. :D

As a Mod for the DC forum one would think you would want to pimp our existing stats site. In fact since Kyle pays the bandwidth on said site I would think Kyle might appreciate that as well.

Your pointing our team members to other non-related sites seems, at least to me, to be a bit of retaliation for your current disagreement with King.

I was under the impression that forum Mods were there to solve problems, smooth things over and help build a following for the forum where they work. Perhaps I totally misunderstand the job. This post seems to have the opposite effect.

I really don’t think this is the proper venue to use your power to “prove a point”, especially in public.

Were I to form a new team and ask people here to join I have no doubt that my post would immediately be deleted and I’d be asked to leave, if not banned outright.

Sorry, but this just strikes me as bad form and as much as I stayed out of the previous threads I feel this one needed a response.

1. Yea, pretty funny timing with between this and the "other" threads.

2. In my opinion, could be wrong here... I'm thinking Kyle is more concerned if I'm wearing matching socks with no holes in them than where I get my DC stats. Just hunch.

@ Duster- I'm not sure if I agree with you there. Personally I think anything Bill says will be seen as retaliation-- Bill and King being long term partners in crime ( :p for lack of better words, I'm being nice here you know buddies :) )

Different strokes for different folks. Some people like this stats site, some people like that stats sites. Some people like line graphs, some bars graphs, some pie graphs.. (yes, I recall a few feathers being ruffled over which type of graph to use...). Personally I like my graphs one way, the rest look weird to me, creature of habit I guess.

@ Bill for what/how Mods should be-- Yea, mods suck huh... :p One thing I've always noticed, with a heavy hand regarding team 33-- is the "focus", "dedication", "one sidedness", "nazim" [pick a adjective depending on your mood] towards two projects and one stats site, vs. other teams DC forums. Is this good or bad? I'll keep my opinion to myself, however this is a very distinct difference between this team and others that I've noticed.

Maybe the current set of mods want to open things up so to speak. Allow talk of other DC projects, allow talk of other stats. Is this good or bad, I don't personally care-- I have the ability to take it or leave it. Is this what's going on, no clue I don't talk to those guys. Maybe this is where the powers that be want the team to go, since the powers that be pick the mods....

edit: don't matter, this thread will be locked in 48 hours anyways -:-rolleyes-:-
 
What I don't get is this.

Everyone says the mods are pushing new projects, and new teams.

Please provide evidence WHERE they have done this. Another stat site is just that. Another stat site. The only ones making a big deal out of this are a select few.

Yes. our stat site has EVERYTHING and the kitchen sink, maybe some people prefer something not so comprehenisve.

You can't force one thing on a group of people who were raised to believe they have the freedom of speech and thought. This isn't mother russia, or china....

Bill, I know you being a dedicated American would hate for that type of censorship to exist, correct?

Let's all get off this whining and bitching about this crap. It's not productive.

If you like hf.com use it. If you like another, use it. The people who have given their hearts and souls to this team, AtomicMoose included, are not going anywhere. And if other people want to leave this team for another project or team, let them. All this shit is doing is making people who are new uncomfortable and will push them away, rather then welcome them with open arms.
 
Okay, this is not the place to perpetuate an arguement that we're already trying to get worked out. BillR, if you take issue with it, please use the report post button, or contact myself or the OP as it were. By airing the dirty laundry in public we're not solving anything.

There is not one single end all in the world when it comes to where to get your info. This is merely provided as is, to any UD'er that may wish for additional features that King hasn't implemented as of yet. This is not an endorsement that one is better than any other, just that this is an addendum while King is waiting on Grid to get their stuff in order.

Personally, I pull my stats from a variety of places and check them all out, as they all provide things a little differently.

This is not going to get the lock, but any additional talk that is not done via PM and put in the thread will be deleted. This is just for discussion this site, and what they have.
 
1. I don't like the folding site. I like ours will continue to use hardfolding.com
2. I agree with Bill. We should be encouraging the use of our own sites and not other people's.

 
My God, people, it's a stats tracking site.

I use six. Am I a traitor? Grow up.

If it's clean, well-presented and easily readable/navigable, yeah, I'll use it.

All this drama lately is really getting annoying. We're all over the age of 15 here, I assume. It's time to start acting like it. Either start working together, or take it somewhere else.
