My current 80GB hard drive is filling up and I would like to install a second drive.
Right now I'm trying to research and find out the best way to go.

I put my computer together myself, but I'm still very new at this. So I apologize
for the noobish questions.

When it comes to multiple hard drives, I don't know squat, and I have a ton of questions.
For instance, will I have to reinstall windows on the second hard drive? Do they run at the
same time or do I have to reboot to access the second? Can I copy from one to the other?
The list goes on.

I don't expect anybody to actually answer all these, but I would appreciate it if you could
point me to some good resources, or recommend a good website to read.

Any other general tips would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help,
Dennis

Googling with search phrase 'adding hard drive' will provide pages of links to help articles.

Hope this helps!

You do not need to reinstall windows to add a second hard drive. You don't have to reboot to see the second hard drive. The drive will show up in explorer as a, well, second hard drive of a different drive letter. And you can copy from one drive to the other.
What else can I help you with?

Are you adding an IDE drive or an SATA? IDE you'll have to play with jumpers (set it to slave) and SATA you won't. I recommend sata, not because they're faster, but because they're more futureproof.
