Hi all,

Currently I have a pretty old system that I've been using for a couple years that you can see in the sig. I've started having troubles with it though since the heatsink on the northbridge fell off and I've had to improvise to keep it on. Plus, I figure it's time to upgrade anyways even though I think my current setup is pretty classic.

Anyways, I've been lurking the forums and think I might go with a standard setup of an E6300/6400, DS3, 2gb 667 ddr2, and a 7900GS. My question though is whether or not any of you guys know if anything new is coming out (besides the quad core) and if there's going to be a price drop anytime soon that might effect my timing.

there might be a little price drop for when thedx10 g80 hits the shelves and when the quad core is released , also the new SLi intel chipset is coming out next month , so probably you might save about 20% on the whole system
