I'm pretty sure about this, but I just wanna confirm everything with you guys. Anyone have this camera? Or just your general thoughts on it if you don't.

If not this one, can you suggest some alternatives I could look at? Good optical zoom is a must, and the more manual features the better.

The camera I'm thinking of is the Konica Minolta DiMAGE A1, and it's reviewed here:

i've also heard great stuff about the A1 (and A2) though i have no personal experience with it.
 
Personally I don't like the image quality on minolta's prosumer cameras. Too noisy. The images on my 2mp Canon A60 look better at 100%.

Everything else they do pretty well though. Minolta packs allot of features.
