now i have a ati 9700 pro and cpu amd 3400+ 64 bit

It could be a few things..

1) REMOVE and update your drivers.
2) Your card is just old.. It may have just kicked the bucket.
3) and probably the most viable.. HEAT. Your 9700 doesn't have a heat sensor, but the next time your cpu crashes, open it up and feel the heatsink. If its HOT, your card is probably overheating.

you need to post a bit more info before we can help you. what other components are you running (cpu, motherboard, ram, powersupply, etc.)

is it possible that the card is overheating? if you open up your case, is the heatsink full of dust? is the fan even running?

more info plz! :D

i already first upgraded my drivers before so i erased them and installed the original of the disk.
specs amd athlon 64 proccesor 3400+
clockspeed 2.41 ghz
motherboard msi k8t800 1024 gb
cpu temp 55 degree
the card is warm not hot and i removed all the dust inside and the fan on the card
works 2 i just dont now where 2 find the powersuply wattage

It sounds like either something is overheating, or you are exceeding the max wattage on the power supply causing it to reset. It should say the max wattage somewhere on the power supply.
