It looks like it should be available, but I don't see how to create a thin provisioned virtual disk and I am not finding any good information online.

Anyone know if this is possible and how it is done?

You can only create a Thin virtual disk from an existing disk pool. Have you already created a disk pool?

Here's a link to Dell's documentation on your MD3600

It seems that I had set it up with a Disk Group instead of a Disk Pool. I guess there is no going back without destroying data? I used all the disks to create one big disk pool and then created virtual disks under that.

Im not at work to check but i don't think there is an option to convert your disk group to a pool. When i set mine up there was just to many limitations to using a Disk Pool so i went with Disk Group.
-Cant export/import disk pools
-Cant change raid level locked in to RAID 6
-Cant change virtual disk segment size
-No SSD support
-Also don't think pools can span between multiple MD units daisy chained so your limited in drive number

*forgot to add you can have both a disk group and a disk pool but i see you added all your disks to the group. Nothing wrong with your setup what raid level did you use 10?
