Thin Bazel moniters when?

ok is it just me or does that link not work?

when i click it:

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

i can hit other links here on the forum... what gives?

+1; the link does not work. I don't know of any really thin bezel monitors yet, but you have to realize that it takes time to design and produce these things, pluse there has to be strong and obvious demand for it, cause development cost big bucks.

hehe, that link is in GenMay, my bad.

Pay up suckers!

The link was for NEC's PA series. A guy here on the forum already has a setup with 6 of them.

I just want triple 22" IPS thin bezels with Display port. Pretty please... oh, and for less than $250 each.

I think the OP meant the Samsung ultra thin bezel screens that they were developing for Eyefinity.

The last anyone heard was mass production in December, for sale in the holiday season. 3 screens for the price of a Dell 30", or 6 for double that.

Its bezel btw, and they are already available.

For instance: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1475154&highlight=600

Riiiight, because we are talking about 46" display pieces. Displays like that have been out for much longer. They cost a hell of a lot though and you can't exactly set 3 of them on your desk for eyefinity now can you? I think what the OP is looking for here is when we will see some normal computer monitors with thin bezels.

Wait, I thought only the 6 screen was in development. So there will be a 3-screen one too?

But for 1500$? 3x 22" doesnt seem like a good deal.

I agree. The most recent news post I can find about ultra thin bezel computer monitors is from back in September. I've been looking forward to buying a 3 monitor setup for my 5870 from Samsung since I saw Kyle's video review of Eyefinity, but I'm quickly losing patience. I'm currently looking at the dell P2310H x3 in portrait. Looks pretty sexy.

Please, if anyone has any newer info on when Samsung will release these monitors, post it! :)

They did comment on 3 screens being a similar price to a Dell 30" and 6 to two Dell 30", so presumably they sell them individually. I can't see how it could be good business sense to only sell them in 3's and 6's.

I'm also holding out to see what these Samsung screens are going to be like, or I would drop the bomb on three NEC EA231wmi's.

You and me both, but that shit ain't happening soon.

Considering regular 20-24" IPS are more than that, and you can be damn sure they are gonna charge a premium for thin bezels.

I dont recall seeing this comment anywhere. Just that the 6-er would be between 1 and 2 30s.

Which is what? 1.5-3k$ range?
