Thieves Prefer Blu-ray

Thieves broke into a video store and stole every Blu-ray movie in stock but left all the HD DVD stuff alone. While some people are implying that this shows Blu-ray is the format of choice, others think that the format might end up attracting thieves to their homes as well. Maybe the logical answer is that the thieves were PS3 owners. Duh.

What they took -- every Blu-ray movie in stock -- isn't as interesting as what they left behind. The gang ignored the HD DVD selection entirely, apparently deciding that only the BDA's baby was worth a five finger discount.

Time for a unofficially official PR spin by the Blu-ray groups on this showing that HD-DVD is the suxorz. :p

sorry but what you had said is wrong! I already own 3 blu ray movies :D* note - I did not steal them my dad bought em off of ebay*haha yea ebay* for me :) :p

bluray + ps3 + 23" 1080p monitor =ownage*note again these things are not stolen they are bought!!*

Probably not, but I bet the thieves work for the Blu-Ray consortium, and were paid to drive just this sort of article. It's a plot to drive up rate of adoption! ;)

No I really did bought them... like going to the counter and paying it.. well the blu rays was paid through paypal.. haha I doubt that the sellers on ebay stole it :rolleyes:

nah I don't think that those robbers will beable to steal a ps3 since when I went to fry's to get my ps3 they had them locked in a cage so an employee had to unlock it and then paid it at the counter.

At the big B&M chains, it is often the employees and their management who are the thieves.
 
Did it ever occur to you guys that they probably stole the Blu-Rays because HD-DVDs won't work on their stolen PS3? :p
