While looking at it, it doesn't scream out Thief 4 to me.

But I'll take what I can get.
 
In the end, I still bet this is going to be a really good game. I'm looking forward to it. :)
 
Well, maybe there is a silver lining to this. If they end up putting Thief 4 on Steam, whether it is good or not, they might decide to put the first and second ones up as well. Hopefully patched so they don't have horrid multicore issues.
 
Saw this on Eurogamer yesterday

3rd person makes me worried. Devs would do well to stay faithful to TDP and TMA otherwise you know what will happen

I'm so excited for more Thief, one of the greatest IPs without doubt
 
I'm in! I loved the whole series....still have them too, along with gigs of fan missions.

If I wasn't in the middle of Mass Effect, I'd fire it up again.

There have been rumblings that a group has gotten the leaked Dark Engine source code to compile. Given a bit of time, new Dark Engine binaries will start circulating in the 'underground' with fixes for some of the most major issues.

3rd person....meh...not what I was hoping for. But count me in.

Does anyone know if the original voice actor for Garrett has returned for this game?
 
No word on whether Steve Russell is attached to the project yet. Without him, though, there is not only no Garrett but no Benny, and a Thief game without Benny is just destined to be shit.
