I spent the xmas break making my pc portable : )
Here's my take on the briefcase mod:

Looks like a lot of wires are coming out. Is the entire computer in there, or is it just the monitor? Pictures of the inside?
 
Yep, the whole computer is in there. I made 2 USB slots on the side, along with LAN and stereo output. Had to use an AGP riser to keep the video card low.
I'll post a pic of the guts tonight
 
Needs moar pics. I've seen quite a few briefcase mods, but not a lot of them include the monitor in it. And I think this is the first one with the monitor mounted this way in the briefcase. Nicely done.
 
Had issues putting in a new video card. It had the resolution for ATI cards saved so it thought 1600x1200 was fine - haha stupid lcd couldnt go that high. It's all good now. Put in a X1650AGP.
It is only my secondary computer so it doesnt have to be super good. It is fully upgradeable tho : )
