Running stable on air, are the temps ok? what should the pwm temp be is that accurate? thanks

yeah its because I have them plugged directly to power supply so they are full speed all the time.

For air at that clock those temps seem fine. You could probably try for a little higher OC, but not much. Stay under 70. Your vreg temp seems really high though, you should point a fan in that direction!

Those temps are great; but I don't think you've been running prime long enough. google the most recent prime95 you should use for quad: 25.4

Keep the cpu under 71, keep the pwm under 80; a fan blowing right on the mosfets (to the left of the HSF by the exhaust fan) will help those temps. Keep the NB under 45;

You've got a great overclock and great temps now. don't worry

thanks, I ran it for 8 hrs but just 9 mins for those screen shots, just to show temps.

That's great, I'm going for 12 hours tonight. Even though it's ridiculous (to me); somehow I have the perfectionism bug and I can't be happy with 5 hours stable...if it crashes it pisses me off I have to do something to find the totally stable system. I think 12 hours prime should work for that.

I used to be happy with 2 hours prime or even less....it's a psychological thing since the cpu will never be stressed as hard as I'm doing right now anyway...sigh.

BTW, since I"ve been priming for about 2 days looking for the stable settings (it's stable enough for the database here but not for me) my temps at load have really dropped....arctic silver kicking in. I'm 2 hours in and my cpu reads 53 in uguru; 59-65-60-65 in everest....well below the 70-71 it stabilized at before. Maybe it's a bit cooler in here now.

My NB idles at or above 45*C. Stress puts it over 60*C.
