Frostytech says the Eclipse II is the best cooler. Does anyone here have it? The d14 is so expensive. Can the Eclipse really off that good of performance? I need a cooler and want to get a top performing air cooler.

Ok, I used to have the ifx-14, & it was an awesome cooler. What tests can you link to showing this? Thanks

However, this review has the D14 edging out the Silver Arrow:

Personally, I think the difference in their performance is within the standard of error, in other words negligible. Also, the Silver Arrow has 2 140mm fans. If you put those 2 fans on the NH-D14 it could edge out the Silver Arrow. I haven't tested the Spire Eclipse personally, but I currently have 3 fans mounted on my NH-D14 and I don't see how 1 fan in that heatsink can beat 3 on mine, especially if the performance at stock is close. There also doesn't seem to be a way to attach extra fans on the Spire Eclipse either.

Hmm impressive, didn't read this relatively new review. Question is would 2 fans on the Archon beat 3 fans on the Silver Arrow?
