I just got my Thermaltake V1 cooling unit and it's mounted however the directions blow.

The only thing I am confused about is if I have mounted the V1 correctly to make sure the cooling fan is blowing exhaust out towards the I/O panel and not the other way around.

Thanks for any info and or help!

Comparing the fan blades to my desk fan and a yate loon I have sitting around, it looks like its backwards to me, and will be blowing toward the ram... though I'm not sure on this....

I am guessing that the frame of the fan should point where the air is suppose to go, or just feel the air with your hand.

If you can power it on outside your case (make sure to not short anything) or can easily swap it if its in the case, then turn it on and see.

I don't think these are being sold in the US (had to use their global site when looking for install instructions / pictures) so not many people seem to have or have reviewed them :(

So yeah, you want the 2 large heatpipes to be on the bottom (want air going opposite way they are in the diagram), so you do need to flip it.

All fans spin the same way and have similar blades. So plain and simple, you need to turn it around to have the exhaust blowing towards the I/O panel.
