Hi all,
I got my first real case in the form of a Thermaltake Soprano and have a few questions:
1) The fan at the front of the case: Is it supposed to be useless without the front of the case open? When I open the front of my case, all my temps drop about 5-6C as the fan has a place to suck air from but surely you aren't meant to have the front of the case hanging open the whole time?
I have replaced the exhaust stock thermaltake fan for the 120mm black and white nexus, so my orange intake Thermaltake fan is the loudest thing in my case. How does the airflow of a YateLoon/Nexus compare to these Thermaltake fans?
2) With regards to the fan on my Scythe NInja heatsink - I currently have it on the top, with an intake fan at the front of the case and an outtake fan at the back, what is the best position for it? I think it blows air into the heatsink, so is the top of the heatsink the best place for it?
The 80mm on the side, apart from being loud, doesn't seem to affect my temperatures much if I turn it on....
I probably have more questions soon, thanks for any help!
