i'm planning on purchasing this http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-106-036&depa=1 hsf for my amd 64 3200+ which currently has the stock hsf attached to it. anyways i was just wondering what should i expect when i install it. will i have to replace the backplate or is the stock one the correct size? amd are there any precautionary measures i should take after removing the old hsf and placing this one in? any other tips or advice is surely welcome.

Great, quiet cooler. Works with all standard hardware, no removing bracket required, even works on mobos with tight socket areas. I've had mine for sometime now - from an AMD 3400+ 754 to the overclocked 3500+ (2.4Ghz) I'm using now - it's a great cooler!
