Does anyone know where i can get a custom painted Thermaltake Shark like the one Monarch Computer showcases?

I've been looking at alot of cases the last month or so and i'm really starting to like this case. Its interior is really nice with the dual 120mm fans, mobo tray, and 5 3.5" internal bays that face outwards. And from what i can tell it doesn't use that stupid green plastic PCI retention bracket Thermaltake has in their new cases which is a worthless piece of crap that doesn't work at all.

I am pretty sure you could try and paint it yourself...doubt it would be that hard...

I will never go the TT way

Well i do prefer the interior quality of Cooler Master and Lian-Li cases but Cooler Masters new upcoming cases are a big letdown in my book and Lian-Li has really been slipping on their quality lately. Lian-Li cases are also VERY blan and i prefer something with a little more pizazz. Thermaltake has several areas they need to work on but they do put out some descent looking cases. I dont care if people say their ripoffs or not because thats the last thing i care about. All i care about is looks and features.

Well I'm pretty sure that Monarch gets them from TT like that, I'd probably find someone who could anodize those parts (if the bezel thing can be removed that is).

BTW I totally agree with you on the new CM cases although I might brake down and get one of the new Wavemasters and mod it. Lian-Li too but I've always seen them more as a "blank canvas" with alot of mod potential... yeah I don't really like leaving a case with a stock look. haha :D I'd probably go Silverstone or a custom case myself.

You could always order a basic/good system from Monarch, dump the parts into an extra case and give it to someone (GF/Wife/Kid/whatever) keeping the case for yourself. :)

Unfortunately, TT does not sell the Shark to Monarch customized. Monarch does their own work. =)

We have a thermaltake rep in our presence? is this for cleanup duty because of the negative image they have with people?

TT has a negative image???

Since when???

I totally completely disagree with that comment.

I use lots of TT products, from fan to cases to heatsinks. Never had a problem.

Now if he was a Jaton rep, I could understand your comment. :p

Yeah I've got a TT Tsunami and PSU(which made the jump to my new P180) and they've been great products. I'd go TT any day if they had the product I wanted. :D

I've...I've already said too much...so here's a link :D

I'm referring to cases btw. TT does have a wide variety. This is the case modding forum so naturally I'm talking about just the cases.

edit: why also would they go about bumping an old thread like this? conspiracy! :D j/k

ThermalTake is definately taking a new perspective on things. Honestly, I haven't really liked what i've been seeing from Lian Li, Coolermaster, or Antec (Trust me, I like Antec too) lately.

Incase some of you haven't noticed, they have been doing there best to create products according to what people like. Sure, you bash them for there OLDER cases. But personally, the new ones are looking better and better each time I see them. If you also pay more attention to one of there cases (I forget which one), they've also adjusted to the trends of watercooing and made it watercoolable by making panels with predrilled holes in them, tell me that is not listening to the consumer?

My very next case just might be a Thermaltake.

I love my Tsunami, only thing i could wish for was a better HDD rack and slightly stiffer constuction.

Love the paint job and door, not too thrilled by the bezel behind it but who sees it?

Once i get around to modding it a lil ill be happier (remove punched out fan grills, lighting switchs a fan controllor maybe a CCFL in the door).

Does anyone know if its possible to get a solid side panel for the Tsunami, I brought the one with the side window but find myself wanting to do my own window design.
