What ever happened to this case???

Did it ever hit production or was it vaporware???
 
I thought it was a real case design with a hefty price tag, New Egg sure don't have it.

According to Newegg's twitter account they just got the first one about a week ago so they can test it to see if they want to sell them.
 
$700 is a bit pricey.

I'd have to see one in person.....where could I put all my watercooling gear???

I saw a review in a (I think) current issue of Maximum PC, and they seemed to say that it wouldn't be a good case at all for watercooling, at least if left stock. Mind you, I think/assume they are thinking there's no closed area or bay for a waterpump, resivoir or radiator. I guess if you didn't mind just having the pump sitting out in the open and the radiator hanging off the side somewhere, it would probably be fine. But yeah, figure it's more or less a metal wall with the components bolted onto the side, so one would have to just put a pump on the case floor or some such I suppose.

I think if carefully done, one could get a pump and radiator to look ok with the case, but there really is no enclosed area for tubing and such.............I guess if I buy one, I'll need the dremmel.:D
