There is review of the Thermaltake Level 10 GT case posted today at ThinkComputers today. If you like Level 10 but you don't have the budget for it, the Level 10 GT might be for you.

Thermaltake surprised everyone when they announced the Level 10 case. It was something that we had never seen before and was really a design marvel. While the case was truly amazing the price tag was not, not many people have $800 to drop on a case. Thermaltake knew this, but still loved the design of the Level 10 so they have released the Level 10 GT, which keeps some of the same styling of the original Level 10, but drops the price considerably.

The prices listed on the top of that review are for the original Level 10 case which sold for $600-$800. This is the newer, cheaper "GT" version which should go for under $300. I still wouldn't buy it for that price (there are better options out there in this price range) but at least they're not trying to rape people for $800+.
 
I don't like this case at all. There is nothing attractive about it whatsoever, much less the price. Yeesh!!!
 
The level 10 is stylish, but the GT version is not. Like others have mentioned, there are better options out that for that price.
 
I actually saw this case in person at the Brokaw Fry's in San Jose and it's definitely not a case I would even consider at anything over $200. It looked like a $79 case. The build quality didn't look anything like the original. If I didn't already know a little bit about it, I would thought it was some Thermaltake P.O.S.

Oh wait, it IS a Thermaltake P.O.S!
 
i liked the speration of chambers in the actual level 10 the gt isnt even any relation to it. its just a crappy case thats overpriced... much like my own lol but mine was only 80 for me.:p
 
I bought one a couple weeks ago and I really like it. The looks might not be for everyone, but I think it's fine. I am really enjoying the hot-swappable drive bays as I am juggling and consolidating hard drives.

It does a decent job of keeping two GTX480s cool - at least in games, but in stress tests, not as much.

The filters seem to do a good job and the internal wiring is unreal - single molex connector to the whole drive plane and tons of pre-wired stuff and channels to hide cables.

I also like the handle although I can't believe how heavy my system is in this thing.

If you don't mind, or even like the looks, this case has a lot of nice, thoughtful details that make it very enjoyable to own.

I got it for $215 which seemed more reasonable and I replaced my Cosmos S - a case I really like, but it's features are just not comparable to the newer cases.
 
$270 and only Steel and plastic?....yea..let me think about that a se.. Hell No.

As much as I like that design and the mod possibilities, I won't spend nearly $300 for a crap steel and plastic nightmare. While perhaps not completely aluminum, I would at the minimum expect the internals to be aluminum and the front bezel. Then again, I am a complete case snob and won't spend over $50 on anything steel.
