Does thermaltake still use the same tool for lapping as is used for for spiral-cutting hams?
I was just looking on my old Volcano 6cu and saw a really rough spiral on the conductor surface. Looking at getting another Thermaltake, but the new Quiet one, the Silentboost RX K7. Anyone know if they do a better job lapping (or at least getting it close) than they used to?
