Thermaltake Lanbox Cpu Cooler question..

I bought a new cpu cooler (CM Geminii S) That was the only cooler i read was the most compatible cooler (other than stock ) i can use on this case. Planning for overclocking.

Water cooling is not an option, im against it...

Im facing a dilemma here, the psu fan of my ocz is 140mm and is gonna be right in top of the Geminii S 120mm fan. I guess they gonna fight for air and eventually do nothing to cool my cpu...

I cannot flip the psu so the fan is in the top as i gonna have to mod the rack that holds the psu a little bit...

What about if i flip the Geminii S fan upwards so instead of throwing air at the heatsink is doing right the opposite and use the psu 140mm in combination with the cpu 120mm fan to take that hot air out..

I try to look information about this, but is very vague and almost a taboo i guess lol... In big cases maybe is a problem but what about in sff like this one? specially if the psu is right in top of the cpu heatsink?

My setup consist:

Intel 2500k stock speeds for now
Asus Max IV Gen-z/Gen-3
16 GB DDR 3 G.Skill Ripjaws
Sapphire 6870 \&/ XFX 6870 in Crossfire
OCZ ZT 750W

Re-Arrange hard drive cage and remove the cdrom tray entirely XD, as i dont have need for this things in my rigs, thats what i have my server for... Bought a set of new modular cables (shorter ones) hope they fit, and a few noctua fans, plus new rear 60mm fans...

Well, i try it.. It works like a charm... same temps i was getting with stock cooling @ stock with 1.200v..

Now is at 4.5GHz with 1.352v 83 max with realtemp (intel burn test v2 which is hotter than prime), guess when as5 cures is gonna drop a few c's more XD

One of my reviews is there (Q9650 CPU) but I have since upgraded to a i7-2600k. My temps is close to the other reviewer. The temps on idle for mine were 30C. It's a really nice cooler though the price have gone up when I had initially purchased it.

Nice, too bad on the price side. I paid only 20 bucks for this one on ebay a couple of days ago.. Setup, is a pain on the ass tho, mobo has to be out everytime you decide to re-apply tim or remove rams in some setups... Theres people with water cooling and expensier equipment than the one i got to achieve the same goal with the same result or even worst..

I put in a way just in case i need to move rams or something else so i dont have to remove the mobo if i need to change something, fits perfectly nice with the asus mobo i got. The heat-pipes are close to the window so is pulling air from the outside thru those heatpipes, instead of dispersing that hot air all over the case...

Honestly, im very surprised on how is working was skeptical at first XD. Im watching the mobo and gpu temps up close, thats exactly where i can see if the cpu fan is really pulling hot air outside the case using a pulling technique from the cpu fan instead of the traditional way. I notice theres no change at all on the temps they are perfectly stable not even up and down.. The mobo is stable @ 30c and the closest gpu to the cpu is at 42c they dont even twitch XD...

Im lowering my cpu volt more, right now im sitting at 4.5GHz @ 1.312v with a max reading of 65's, thats -15c lower than what i start with, specially in a case like this size...... There you can see how important airflow is, only one noctua for intake fan XD

Im comfortable with 85c as a max temp on the cores... Been in this for so long, im not that paranoic when it is ocing a piece of equipment.. Still more than 10c from tj max that without including the safe feature of thermal trothing, so im safe there.. As long my mobo temp dont rise when all equipment is @ 100% running then i dont have to worry on the cpu doing tricks on me, temp wise..

Plus, prime/intel burn stress the cpu more than what we normally push the system, even on games... So thats another thing to have in mind...
