Does anyone know if the thermaltake CL-W0009 can fit onto 5/8 OD 1/2 ID tubing? This thing is one sexy res! :p On their website it just says 3/8 and 1/2... doesnt specify ID or OD. Im betting its outer though :(

Does that passive cooling around the res really do anything for temps? Im doubtfull. How much do they charge for that? I checked some of Thermaltakes listed dealers and none of them had it listed yet.

It sure looks nice tho.

Also on the tubing its ID, this from their website on the connectors included with the res:

Quick Install Connector
Quick install Connector(1) For 6.4mm ID (1/4“) tubing
Quick install Connector(2) For 10mm ID (3/8”) tubing
Quick install Connector(3) For 12mm ID (1/2”) tubing

How do you fill it?

Too much bling, not enough practicality. Also, that thing will suck air like a mother with a powerful pump like a mag 3.

just so you know, one of my friends bought one of the Tt units, and was very disappointed.

He did buy one of those 'all-in-one' setups though. The tubing was really small, then unit started leaking if you moved it the wrong way, and it was an overall piece of crap. For the price he paid, big disappointment.

All-in-one setups usually suck unless it is an Exos or such.

Yeah, good question killernoodle, how do you fill it?

this is not an all in one unit... its just a res. I wouldnt buy any all in one unit b/c they all suck! I currently don't have a res and have a single 120mm BIX radiator. The passive cooling was what attracted me to this res and also it looks nice too... im going to get one since you can hook it up to 1/2 ID hose! When this thing is mounted on an acrylic window it looks smooth... especially if you have UV dye in your system. I wonder how well those fittings resist leaks? Im using worm drive clamps on my rig. :D

Current System:
AMD 3500+ (2.24 ghz) overclocked to 2.53 ghz at 55C
Thermaltake Tsunami Dream case:
PolarFlo TT w/ 3 barb
BIX radiator
Swiftech MCP650 12v Water Pump
Fluid XP+
Tygon

btw... it doesnt look like it has a way to fill this res... very interesting in deed! I guess ill keep my t-line hidden in the back also. Mainly just want it for asthetic :D

Anyone seen this for sale yet? Thermaltake is taking forever to get this out!! What the dilly thermaltake!? :p
