Thermaltake Case Emergency

Problem with thermaltake tsunami case and mounting an Asus deluxe sli motherboard. The motherboard is too high off the case for the screws to fit into their holes. Yet the motherboard is lining up with the IO shield plating. Anyone have any ideas? Rofl anyway....figured it out...good thing I figured it out or I could have a cracked motherboard right now.

got standoffs installed? sorry no offence but this thread just made my laugh. first time ive ever seen that... otherwise if you DO have standoffs installed and it doesnt fit, try bigger ones?

which screws? If some of the mobo screws are miss aligned then in that situation I would just barely screw in the corners and then see how may other inner screws can get in while the board has some slack.

If the mobo screws are too short and you cant find larger ones, you will definately be able to find thin spacers/washers that would be able raise the mobo screws a little bit...but some between the mobo tray and the stand-off and then some between the stand-off and the board.

here's are three easy steps to resolving any thermaltake chasis emergency:

1) dynamite the fucker
2) trade it to an unsuspecting forum noob
3) get a silverstone or a lian li instead

Anyway, apparently TheSecondBest has figured out what the problems were. I'm just glad to hear it's not a problem with the chassis.
