I have been looking at the Armor for a case upgrade. I want something that has plenty of room for water cooling when I get my setup together. Is the LCS version modified to accommodate the radiator in the front? Or can you install one in the vanilla version yourself? And if so, can it hold any radiator, or does it have to be Thermaltake's? And, while I am inquiring about the Armor, are the mesh intakes aluminum or plastic? And finally, does the PSU sucking air straight from the HDD hurt the PSU? Or does this help the HDD? Tried to find out most of this myself, but to no avail. Would like to know before I drop the moolah. Thanx in advance.

LCS version seems like just a ply to get you to pay more money. ( i did not know that armor has its own LC version... thought it was only the tai chi and kandalf maybe... Ill check it out...) But my advice would be get your own WC system.
Im guessin all radiators fit here, the case is DAMN big.

The mesh intakes are metal, not plastic.

There is a fan right by that hard drive rack on the top, the fan in back of that is good. There is also one on top of the case, which does virtually nothing...

If you buy an Armor, expect to take out that crap PCI mount and remove the crap front flaps. Otherwise, good case.

I definitely would not be keeping the junk Tt water cooling kit. I am just curious if I would have to mod the plain version to fit a radiator. At that link, it says "exclusive" 120mm x 240mm radiator". Wouldn't that imply that it is specific for the case? In this link, http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=114&products_id=2837, for the regular one, when they show that you can install a WC system, they only show a single 120mm radiator mounted on the back of the case. So that makes me wonder if you can put one in the front or if you have to by the LCS version, or the fun way, which would be mod it, of course.

If it would be all that much trouble, I may have to look elsewhere. I really do like the Armor, though. It looks huge. I need to find out what the deal is with this rad business. I would hate to buy this case and find out I have to mod it to fit a "real" radiator in it. I would also hate to not buy it and find out later that it would have worked.
 
I have the Armor LCS. The LCS case is identical to the regular armor. But.....it comes with a brace that mounts in the drive tower.it takes up 6 slots and leaves you with 5, still plenty. It comes with a dual rad with 2 120mm fans.The TT WC stuff is pretty nice that comes with it. The rad is no different then one yo ucould buy anywhere else. on my setup I swapped out the pump/res combo for a custom setup, but kept the rad and CPU block. I added a NB and SB blocks as well as VGA block. also added an external res.
