It goes back onto my to-get list (gives me lots of room for passive nF4 cooling), but installation looks cumbersome compared to the Zalman VF700 heatsinks. I'd probably get a slow 80mm fan, and run it at 7V.

1) It doesnt come with a 25mm by default.. so slightly less airflow
2) Ball-bearing fans tend to be a little loud even when undervolted...

ah yea thats true but i myself prefer the low profile 15mm ones

I couldn't really tell from the pictures, but does it cool the RAM as well?

Unlikely, since they say that anything over a 6800NU requires separate RAMsinks.

Decided to revive this in my curiosity. I'm looking at this cooler, but I want to find out how the Zalman FS-V7 compares in performance. Haven't seen anywhere with the two in a comparison for temps.
