Thermalright Archon SB-E X2

I'm also looking forward to seeing how well this thing performs in reviews but I think the actual heatsink is identical to the regular Archon SB-E which has been out for a year. The main difference is that the X2 comes with two TY-141 fans instead of just one and it has a new mounting kit that applies more pressure (or something like that).

Just look at some pictures of the regular SB-E and you will see what I'm saying. http://www.nikktech.com/main/articl...right-archon-sb-e-cpu-cooler?showall=&start=3

Also LMAO can you say hovercraft?!?! :D

True. It also has a smaller profile than previous versions. 10.3cm w/ both fans attached so it is friendlier to those who have a CPU socket crowded by tall memory kits. Part of the reason I ended up going with a Corsair H100 is because I couldn't find an air cooler that would do what I wanted without causing issues with my memory modules.

I need this cooler. Can't find it anywhere!

When it becomes available, I think this will be the first place to have it.

They only sell Thermalright products and there used to be certain products on Thermalright's website that would take you directly to Nan's. They were the only company that stocked the True Spirit 120 and 140 for a long time. You can even make bulk orders for dozens of heatsinks at one time. I strongly suspect that Nan's is a subsidiary of Thermalright.

Let us know how you like it if you get one. :)

Thanks for the info!
From what I can tell, this is the same exact sink as the original Archon, but with a brand new mounting system and 2 140mm fans vs 1 150mm. Part of me wants to get an original Archon and add an additional 150mm fan, but Id be missing the new 70lb mount. Hmmm...
Wish I knew if these will fit the upcoming Haswell socket.
