Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I did a comparison a while back. Its floatin around here somewhere. Went so far as to do a lap dance on my gpu!
Arctic silver 3,5 or ceramique are all great contenders. About 3-4 degree differance. If captance (always wanted to use that in a sentence) is a concern then go with The big C. Trully how you apply the stuff is more important then what you apply!
Yeah, I'm still a n00b when it comes to application of it. I've never done it and am still a bit sketchy as to how it's done. (any good n00b-tutorials for it?)
And is that 3-4 degrees Celcius or Farenheight? (God that's such a stupid name!)
Celcius
It's real easy! Just remember less is more. A thin layer almost transparent, applied with a credit card. The stuff should fill in on the microscopic level. Sometimes to much is put on and you create an air pocket....BAD....Temps will be higher!
In fact after some hours logged if you remove your HS you might think that you forgot to put it on. If the two surfaces are real flat.
You don't want the stuff to oozz out!
