Just looking around to see what kinds of pastes you guys use. Is that Noctua stuff pretty much the best out now?
 
id say arctic cooling mx-2, beats AS5 in terms of temps as well as being non-conductive (doesnt have metal) and doesnt need curing time.
 
Arctic Cooling MX-2, Tuniq TX-2, and OCZ Freeze are some of the best compounds out there right now. As for which one is the best, realistically it doesn't make a difference. Any temperature difference between them will be minimal.
 
I use Shin-Etsu x-23. It was about 3-4 degrees cooler than arctic silver last time I tested them. I costs a lot more though and it can be hard to find sometimes.
 
best thermal compount is tc grease 0098 by tim counsultants it beates mx 2 by 2-3C i have it amazing and it won best thermal paste benchmark reviews
 
i'm using Shin Etsu X23-7783D. it is lower than AS5 and MX-2 about 4c (from what i have used)
