I'm about to start a new build and realized that my tube of MX-2 is about 2 years old.
Does the MX-2 have an 'expiration date' or should it be good to go?

It doesn't expire, but some thermal paste might separate if you leave it for a while. If you could stir it up a bit with a toothpick or something it should be perfectly fine to use.
 
Should be fine as long as it was kept at normal (i.e. room temperature) conditions.
