Thermal Paste Question?

I installed my cpu yesterday with my new Cooler master hyper 212 plus cooler, and in doing so, I think I put a bit much thermal paste on. When I tightened the heatsink, a little came out of the side of the contact plate. If I run Prime95 for about a half hour, my i7-950 (stock clock) stays around 65C for the first core, and around 60 for the 4th. Should I re-apply the paste?
