today i brought thermal paste at a computer shop for $6. it is 1.5g tube of sliver based thermal heatsink grease. SILVGREASE1. the company name is startech.com
on the tube it writes
thermal conductivity 7.5W/m-k
thermal restiance 0.06 C-in/w
25% sliver included.
now tell me is this a good thermal paste for me to use? whats the difference between the artic sliver and this thermal paste?
 
You got ripped off for some 50-cent tube of Radio Shack thermal paste with a flashy label that said "SILVER".
 
The paste will work for your computer if you still want to use it.

But arctic silver IS the cream of the crop.
