Friend of mine wants to go back to his stock cooler (VF700 sucks in his case with low airflow) and doesn't have his thermal pads anymore.

Where can I find pink/white ones like ATI uses on their coolers?

The VF700 own the stock cooler. Just put a stronger fan blowing at the VF700. Is he sure he mounted it properly and tightly enough? Not worth the trouble of finding pads and slapping on something greater in sound level and the temperatures wouldn't improve. The temps would just be worse mostly because of his case having poor airflow. What case is it?

It's some old whack ass Logisys case.

Bottom line is that he's already sold the VF700, and the stock cooler is going on his card.

He wants to restore it to as stock as possible should he ever have to RMA it as well.

IDK where to buy it, but you might be able to get a small amount as "sample" by contacting Chomerics or Shin-Etsu.

I've heard these help a lot with Zalman GPU coolers. Guess it's moot now though, heh.

You might be able to find a stock cooler on the FS/FT forum here or elsewhere (ebay, craigslist, etc). You could also inquire with the manufacturer's tech support or sales.

Already found the cooler for sale. Just need the thermal pads.

A distributor or manufacturer might have the pads. Maybe either the maker of the card or some distriubtor of computer componants.
