Hello everyone

I got myself a Zalman 7000CU today. I haven't install it yet because I haven't decide which Thermal Compounds is the best solutions for overclocking my Intel 3.0c.

And one more question. Do I have to clean the old Thermal Compounds from the old intel heatskin? If so, what do I use?

Thanx You.

you should use some rubbing alcohol or some acetone to clean that cpu

as for the compound, use AS5. its the best for now

Hmmm

AS5 seems like the best choice.

How much do I need to add? Like evenly around the cpu or little is fine?

Before, I add too much on my Cooler Master AERO4 something really bad happen. I try to pull the heatskin off but there was too much Termal compound I pull it off with the CPU.

Does adding more decrease the temperature since there is more compound between heatskin and cpu?

My ide temp for Cooler Master Aero 4 was 36 and loaded is around 42.
