You have to admit this story is pretty damn funny. Well, unless you are the guy that owned the trailer.

Come get this trailer, attach it to your car and get it out of here," Vanessa Kimball posted on June 22, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. "I'm tired of looking at it, and I have no idea what to do with it. … (J)ust get (it) out of here!

Yah, there have been stories and situations like this in the past. One person put up a post saying everything was free, his family was leaving town - and it wasn't even his house. The real owner showed up and half the place had been cleaned out...

Just as with anything else, it's a few scumbuckets that have a tendency to ruin things for pretty much everyone else. :(

Deserves everything that is coming to her. To post an ad like that then leave to boot? I'm pretty sure she wasn't planning to move but decided to run from the law once she realized she couldn't do it.

Indeed.... though I haven't read the AD, since it's probably gone. She probably didn't say it was hers >.> lol

When I saw it was Pasco County, FL I expected it to have happened at Moon Lake but I guess Land of Lakes, nudist capitol of our fair country, has gotten as stoopid as the rest of the county.
Glad to live where folks brains aren't as poached and fried as Pasco

After all, she has kids. She couldn't be expected to walk far from her car to her apartment, No. 181.
WTF? Is she one of those handi-fat people who can't walk an extra 15 feet ... because of kids?

Charged with grand theft, she has been released from the Land O'Lakes jail on $2,000 bail.
Kind of a legal limbo here, can you really get charged with grand theft if you didn't steal anything?

The woman was stupid and lazy. Hopefully, no one marries her well she is like that.

Too funny ReconSniper!
Thanks fo' the link

Actually...I've lived in Ohio for the last 5 years but lived in Pasco for 12 years before that including a couple years in a new development the other side of Moon Lake. Still have lots of friends and my mother's down there as well

Stupid. How does one come up with this sort of dumb ass plan? Would it not have been simpler for her to tell the owner of this stupid trailer to move it one spot over? But than again she couldn't be bothered to walk the extra 7 feet to the next nearest spot so I guess that answers that question.

It was returned to the parking lot the next morning after deputies say Kimball posted another Craigslist ad asking whoever had taken the trailer to bring it back.

I'm surprised the guy got his trailer back just by posting on Craigslist.

Pains me to admit this, but what the hell. About 5 years ago my wife came across a "estate clean out" type listing on CL. This was the first I ever heard of such a thing, but I *knew* it was bullshit. Try as I might I couldn't get her to give up on the idea. Knew it could be risky, so went with her as I didn't want her in this area alone. Drove 50+ miles to this place, only to discover the address didn't exist! As we arrived on the "late" side the neighbors of the non-existant house told us there were vehicles lining the street bright and early looking for this amazing free for all. While we were there three other groups arrived. Everyone had a good laugh, but I know someone nearby was laughing hardest of all seeing their deranged socio-economic experiment playing out so well. At least it was 100% BS vs hordes of people stripping a house in a matter of minutes. Oh, My wife was properly ashamed and doesn't like to be reminded of it. :-p
