the start icon not work when i click on it ?

Hi all,

I have Lenovo S10-3 10.1 notebook and there is build in a operation system windows 7 starter today i found that when i Click on the Start Menu botton in windows 7 nothing happen dos not show me the start menu ??? how to Fix It

is this an OEM clean install your talking about? is the notebook brand new? perhaps try a sys restore to factory settings or last know good configuration?

I've had issues like this before even after doing a fresh install. Some times applications that plug into your Windows Explorer (right click mendu's, etc) are not fully compatible and can cause the UI to lock up.

I would check out all background processes that are running and disable the unnecessary ones from starting. Once you get the system functioning as it should, enable a few at a time until you find what's causing the problem.
