JLangevin have you overclocked the cpu/vga?? If yes what speeds and temps do you get??

Yes, they are both overclocked.

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 965 Black Edition. Stock speeds are 3.5ghz, overclocked to 4.2ghz stable Prime95 for 4 hours.
Room Temp: 24.4*c
CPU Idle: 33.5*c
CPU 100% Load: 48*c (Core temps)

GPU: EVGA GTX580 Vanilla Version
Stock Clock: 772mhz
Stock Voltage: 1.0v
Overclocked Clock: 950mhz
Overclocked Voltage: 1.1v

Room Temp: 24.4*c
GPU Idle: 29-31*c (Not sure why it fluctuates so much at idle, but it does)
GPU Load: 57*c (100% GPU load with 3DMark 11)

Oh, and since I didnt mention it, here are the watercooling parts in case someone is interested.

Radiator: Swiftech MCR360 Extreme 360 Radiator
Pump: EK 4.0 Extreme pump (this sucker pumps HARD at even 50%, its far too loud at 100%, so I run it at 50% off motherboard)
CPU Block: XSPC AMD Raystorm (this thing kicks butt)
GPU Block: EK GTX580 Reference Full Cover block
Res: Swiftech Micro-Res
Tube: 1/2ID-3/4OD
Fans: 1600RPM Yate Loons

Project: Batman Beyond
I did a lot of soldering and sleeving on my new rig. The FAN LED button on the HAF-X Case turns ON and OFF all the 200mm and 230mm CM MegaFlow RED LEDs so I can sleep at night with no light.

How did you get your RAM tot 1866 MHz when the 965 only supports up to 1333 MHz???

My RAM supports 1600 but automatically downclocks the RAM cause the 965 doesn't support those speeds. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

Hey, you are correct that the 965 does not support 1866 memory, however it is running just fine at 1600. The ram I have is 1866 max clock, not the 1600 version.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Hoping the FX-8350 makes up for Bulldozer. Time will tell. It's like the whole Phenom I and Phenom II situation alI over again.

Yeah, these days you don't have to mod too much because almost every component you buy now has been pre-modded (sleeved cables, painted interior chassis, cable ties, holes for cable management, etc.) the way we used to do it ourselves. Makes life a lot easier.
