There's nothing like 3 tanks bearing down on you to ruin your day.


GRAW is very pretty, but the lack of AA severly damges image quality IMO. Crosses fingers for AA patch to be released soon.

I was playing FEAR mulitplayer today and stumbled upon this map called HollywoodXXX...
It is a porn theater and it shows a porn on the screen while you play, here is the opening scene of the porn. It was really distracting. :p

I kept getting killed because I would just hide up there and watch it. :cool:

Small bit of info for all you non-ns players
This screen is one of the marine team buidling a new base in the alien base. It is about equivilant in hummiliation factor to being knifed in the face by a retared chimp then respawning and letting it happen 20 more times.
 
 
Yeah, that is an early build of an airshow mod that my roomate put together. Have some more pics of it that show what it can do better, but I cant find them atm. Basically upped the control and throttle responses so you could actually fly the aircraft and replaced the weapons with multicolored flare/smoke launchers.

The map looks a bit like the training map in 21cw? I forget if you were my cpt in there or not, it might have been someone else, if so discard this message.

Awesome FEAR screens Bob!

I still play Quake 3: Arena from time to time.... just the noghost rail freeze mod though. So I figured I'd do some good ol' Q3 screenies

The game still looks decent considering it is what... 7 years old now. I dont play at those nice settings tho ;) too dark to see the enemies. And just to prove I dont suck....

Wow, what mods are you using for Oblivion Nate? That can't be stock. :eek:




For some reason BF2142 looks like shit in screenshots; it's a shame is it looks quite good in game.

I'll just quote what I'm using from another thread.

I used the Better Oblivion page to find better quality graphical mods such as QARL's and the Parallax mapping, I've got a few mods running right now to enhance the game in either graphical or immersion. No extra content (yet) or god items (never)...

Graphical Settings are as of now: Slider bars all to full, 1600x900 (Widescreen), HDR with no AA, shadows on full but no tree canopy shadows or shadows falling on grass (huge, huge fps drop with these enabled) but forced AF (since Oblivion doesn't have the option) in my Nvidia control panel. I get about 35-40fps in the great forest and 80-100fps in the cities and 100+ in dungeons.

Some mods I use are Natural Environments 2.1 (Weather HDR w/darker nights, Vegetation 200%, Water and Habitat), better tiling on distant textures, LOD Replacement (borders and distance, removes low res blurry textures in the background), Natural Faces, All shapes and Sizes, brighter torches, colored map, Cities Alive at Night, better wine and beer bottle textures, Illumination Inside/Outside. And I'm still looking around for more

Most the time I'm just adventuring around taking screenshots. Too bad it saves them as huge ass .BMP files.

no i dont hax and i have never hax'd. some dudes that used to play there had a clan named HaX* and i used to make fun of them
