By looking at the board, its quite clearly a G45M-DS2H.
Over the DS2R:
-1 less SATA port.
-Closed end PCIE-1x
-3 USB headers. 6 ports.
-Larger northbridge heatsink (DS3R design)
-PATA port in the wrong place.
-Floppy in the right place, but that's where PATA should be, you morons. (I don't know about you, but have you ever tried to fold a PATA cable from that bottom connector up to the top? It doesn't like it much)
-4 phase power?
-Onboard VGA/DVI out, probable single ethernet, S/PDIF (You bastards), HDMI on a higher end version?
-What's that floppy-like connector near the ITE sensor chip? (Bottom right)

All in all, its like a G33M-S2H, but with a D.Do want a DS3 version. That'll send ASUS (not) running for their money.

(Other CeBIT highlights: IP45 Pro, abit AN78HD with very correct board organization)

Gigabyte (or us) doesnt need another DS2R. They need to make something better. Just my opinion anyway.
 
Fine. Not another DS2R, but something better than the DS2R.

And when the DS2R came it, it was the king of mATX boards (for a week).
 
Dont get me wrong. Not knocking Gigabyte or you. I just hope they push the envelope some more. In a positive way.
 
an open 4x slot would be nice...............................

Correct. It shouldnt be any worse than what we are currently seeing though with the G33 mATX mobos. Kinda depends on the mobo manfacturer and what they will allow. The chipset itself however has proven good on ATX mobos.
