Anyone know what would be the next big PhysX game in the making? nVidia signed PhysX deals with some companies a few months back so I guess that we can expect some good PhysX games soon right?

Terminator Salvation expansion with sweet PhysX is my next big thing... other than that, just tried redone Warmonger 2.5, that game is fun now!

the demo looks nice, wonder if they´ll ever release that patch

Not many people know about this game, but Shadowgrounds: Survivor (2nd part of Shadowgrounds) features impressive PhysX

Hey Vlad...we may not agree on many things but we agree that we both like Physx! lol
I played Shadowgrounds and it is indeed very cool.

One of the games my company is releasing this year.

Of course, I may be slightly biased :D

oh Kewl !!

and what's the name of that game?

All of our games are PhysX-enabled, the ones which will really make use of it are a few like a platformer ("The Pink Particle", working title) and an FPS ("Nuigurumi no Kyuuden"). The latter especially will feature fully destructible environments and everything to appeal to people who like to watch stuff fall apart realistically :) The former is focused both on constructive and destructive uses of PhysX, allowing you to assemble mechanical constructions and such.

See http://nyanko.ws//games_en.php for our current list of games we aren't afraid to announce yet :)

We'll be releasing lots more games, in which we hope to use PhysX as much as possible. We are also looking at ways to make PhysX a real part of the gameplay without sacrificing that part of the market who don't have a PhysX-accelerator card (PPU/GPU) installed. It is possible that we may release a game in the future which will require such a card, though. I'm working on at least one demo game which requires it at the moment.

That is some cool stuff. You may want to ask Kyle to add your company info, I think he likes industry people to be identified. :)

That'd be cool yes :) How'd I approach him without risking getting bitten? :p

When I was working for AV123 I just told him I worked for the company and he quickly added the tag.
Pretty simple. :)
If you need beta testing I am willing to help.
Regards

I may try sending him a PM, then :)

As for beta testing, we get piles of applications (strangely enough) and have to be rather selective, but I'll keep you updated. If you have any previous experience beta testing, don't mind playtesting the same part in a game over and over again and can legally sign an NDA, that'd help :)

nice!
looking forward to see the final product! :)

Thanks! We hope you'll like our games :D

well you can try sending him a cowboy hat ;) :D

That might help... only the shipping costs would kill me :p I guess I'll try the PM first ;)

Did I mention "the next big PhysX game"? Are you confident that the game from your company has what it takes to be the next big PhysX game? ;)

Our engine is at least as capable as the most high-end current commercial engines, and I like to think myself to be quite creative. If we can put the game together properly and actually find people to buy it, it could get pretty big I'm sure :)
