They don't get too hot. I might add some heatsinks just for the ram.ericlikeseatin said:how hot do the ram chips on the 7800's get anyways? gddr3 chips run pretty cool to my knowledge.
It doesn't cool the entire 7800GTX and I got a good deal to sell the one I hadHappy Hopping said:Why did you not buy the 6800 Aqua water cooler instead?
The reason I ask is that the original cooling fan seems to cover more area, presumably your RAM chip, on tp of the GPU.

I have the aquagraphix 6800 block for sale if anyone is interested?

Probably not enough for a copyright infringement though.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not. Haven't heard of that before. So, nobody lol when I ask...revenant said:yeah - when the humidity is up you don't even need to worry about that... or, another little secret is fill a spray bottle with fabric softener and water (a 1:2 part mixture) and spray the carpet around your desk area to rid it of ESD potential when it's dry...![]()

what are you talking about?!Happy Hopping said:Looking at that pic., there is no cable connect to that video card. How would someone knows the temperature of the video card? And does the temperature detection of these video card software comes with the video card even if the card uses cooling fan?
If so, how do you find a good software to view the temperature of the video card?
I have the aero 4 lite also. It is an awesome cooler for the price. Keeps my [email protected] @ 28~30c idle and 40~43c load. Anyways here is a pic of my eVGA 6800GT @ 400/110 with a Zalman VF-700cu.furiousfords89 said:
